For Parents

** Parents/Guardians - We know the weather has been very hot and your children need hydration. Students are allowed to have drinks brought from home at lunch, however please remember that only water bottles are allowed in the classrooms. We also ask that they be in plastic containers, not glass.**

Important Messages to Parents

After School Safety Advisory:

Please be advised that at the end of the school day, our parking lots and pickup zones are extremely busy with both pedestrian and vehicle traffic.  In order to guarantee your safety and that of our children, we respectfully request that you follow these procedures before and after school:

·         The driveway is only for vehicles on the move – at no point should you ever stop and exit your vehicle.  If you must do so, please pull around into the parking lot and park.

·         If you are picking your children up from the front of school, please keep the lane clear where school buses enter and exit.

·         We have a number of designated crosswalks strategically placed throughout campus.  When crossing the street or parking lot—either on foot or bicycle—please stay within these crosswalks.

·         In front of the school there is only ONE lane of traffic, that which is closest to the curb, where students may be picked up or dropped off.  The passing lane is only for vehicles that are passing through.  At no point should a child ever enter or exit a vehicle in the passing lane.

·         Students being picked up on the curb should enter ONLY from the passenger side, and should never go behind or in front of any vehicle.

Thank you for your attention to these important safety concerns.  We look forward to ensuring the continued well-being of your children.
