Mr. Kahn: Special Education

This is my third year as part of the Skyline Ranch K-8 staff. I have been mentoring/teaching young people for over 40 years.  I graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Elementary Education and am also certified in Learning Disabilities and English as a Second Language. I've taught 1st through 6th grade, 4-8 Special Education and eighth grade (All subjects).

I love working with young people and yes, I'm older than dirt!

As a student I had teachers that both inspired and motivated me and teachers that squashed my enthusiasm. I've learned how to be a better teacher because of both groups.

Thank you for entrusting your children to me

Ms. Frey: Special Education

My name is Marcy Frey, and I am the special education teacher for kindergarten-third grade this year at Skyline Ranch K-8.  I have previously worked as a SPED paraprofessional, and this will be my second year teaching.  I graduated from Weber State University with a bachelor of science degree and I'm currently taking classes at GCU toward my master degree in special education.  I'm looking forward to another great year as a Bulldog!

Mr. Bermier: Special Education

This will be my sixteenth year teaching, the previous two years I co-taught at the junior high school at Eduprize Schools in Queen Creek and before that I taught in the Pathways Program for the middle school for eight years at Anthem K-8 in Florence. I have two Masters Degrees from the University of Phoenix, one for Elementary Education and one for Cross Categorical Special Education. I also have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. I moved from the Chicago area many years ago and me and my son have lived in San Tan Valley for over eleven years. He was in the very first kindergarten class here at Skyline Ranch in 2007 and he is now a junior at Poston Butte High School. We both enjoy the varied outdoor activities available in Arizona and we spend a lot of time up north in the White Mountains whenever we get the time or out in the desert four wheeling in our cooler months.
