Hi, my name is Susan Newbold and I am so excited and so grateful to be at Skyline Ranch this year as the K-3 Resource Teacher. I have spent the last thirteen years working with exceptional children and have loved every minute of it. It is my firm belief that every child can learn, but not all children learn the same way and it is my privilege to be able to work with these exceptional children and help them discover their secret to learning. On a more personal note, I grew up in Chandler and have four wonderful children whom I am very proud of and I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of our Bulldogs and their families.
Welcome back to an awesome new school year! I’m David Kahn and I will be co-teaching with the 4th and 5th grade teachers as well as working in small groups with our students with special needs. This is my second year at Skyline Ranch and my 41st year overall. So far, I’ve been privileged to work with preschool through 8th grade students as both a classroom teacher and a special education resource teacher. I graduated from the University of Arizona and am certified in Elementary K-8 as well as K-12 Special Education. My wife, Joyce, a recently retired teacher, and I have 5 wonderful grandchildren that we love to spoil. We also have two delightful daughters and sons-in-law.
My name is Marcy Frey and I am the new Special Education Inclusion Teacher for 6-8th grade this year at Skyline Ranch K-8. I have worked the past few years as a SPED paraprofessional and this will be my first year teaching. I recently graduated from Weber State University with a bachelor of science degree and I'm currently taking classes at GCU toward my master degree in special education. I'm looking forward to another great year as a Bulldog!
