Middle School Language Arts Department

Mrs. Hull:

My name is Rebecca Hull and I have been teaching for 10 years. This is my third year teaching middle school language arts and my second year teaching Teen Leadership at Skyline Ranch, and I LOVE it! A little bit about me: I am from Seattle, WA., I have two amazing boys Nathan, who just

graduated from Poston Butte and Dallin, who is  a Jr. at PBHS. Some of my favorite things are traveling, reading, watching movies, spending time with my family, and Dr. Pepper. I am excited to be a part of your child’s education and strive to create a learning environment that is positive, encouraging, motivating and safe. I am excited for another wonderful year as a Bulldog!

Ms. Tyler:

This is my fouth year at Skyline Ranch as an English Language Arts (ELA) teacher for grades 6th-8th. Prior to Skyline Ranch, I had taught for 12 years as an ELA teacher for grades 9-12 with General Education, Special Education, and At Risk students. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Secondary Education and Literature from Buffalo state College (SUNY), where I was also a student of Native American studies completing part of my student teacher requirements at the Jicarilla Apache Reservation in Dulce, New Mexico. Besides teaching I love spending time with my two daughters, caring for our pets, playing guitar, reading and listening to music.

Mr. Stevens:

My name is Jeff Stevens. This is my sixth year teaching and my fourth year at Skyline Ranch. I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, but I have lived in St. George, Utah and Orange County, California. I have a Master of Arts in teaching from the University of Southern California (Fight On!). When I'm not at school I love spending time with my wife, two daughters, and our two dogs. In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing guitar and watching sports (especially college football).
