Meet our Administration
Mr. Haugen: Principal
I have worked in the Florence Unified School District since 2004 as a teacher at both the K-8 and the high school levels and as an administrator at Florence High School. I am a graduate of the University of North Dakota and Northern Arizona University. My wife and I, who is also a teacher with FUSD, have three boys, two of which are old enough to attend schools in our district, and happily live in San Tan Valley.
“It’s Great to be a Bulldog”…again. I am very excited to be back at Skyline Ranch. Eleven years ago I began my employment in the Florence Unified School District here at Skyline Ranch. Since then I have worked at Magma Ranch and Copper Basin. I have 18 years’ experience in education as a teacher and administrator. I am a graduate of Greensboro College, Kean and Northern Arizona Universities where I studied Visual Arts, Education and Educational Leadership. Skyline Ranch has great students, staff and community and I am excited to be a part of it.
After joining the Bulldog team in January of 2015, I am excited for the opportunity to begin the new school year with the Skyline Ranch team. Prior to my time here, I taught Air Force Junior ROTC at Campo Verde High School in Gilbert, as well as in Charleston, South Carolina. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of your community. I truly believe in our school motto, “Believe, Succeed, Lead,” and in helping to challenge each of our students reach their goals. It is going to be a great firstname.lastname@example.org
It is my honor to introduce myself as the new master teacher at Skyline Ranch K-8. To provide some history about my career, I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Arizona State University, and my master’s degree in counseling and human relations from Northern Arizona University. I have 10 years teaching experience, with my most recent assignment at Circle Cross Ranch K-8 STEM Academy in the Florence district. I am eager to work alongside our incredible staff to assist in supporting our students’ learning using a variety of tools our district is providing for our schools. Recognizing our mission is to ensure our students receive the time and support necessary to achieve at a high level, it is my goal to monitor the success of each child at Skyline Ranch K-8. Go Bulldogs!
