B.E.S.T.

Mrs. Principe:
My name is Kelly Principe. This year I am teaching the 5th and 6th grade classes for the B.E.S.T. Program at Skyline Ranch. This is my third year with the Florence Unified School District and my 7th year teaching. I taught 2nd grade one year and 3rd grade another year in the Mesa School District. I then moved to teaching at a charter high school for credit recovery for two years. I taught all subjects, grades 9-12, with a specialty in math. While working there, I met the principal, Dr. Sonia Bribiescas, and when she moved to the Leadership Academy of Excellence in Florence I went with her to become their 4th-6th grade teacher. This year I am teaching at Skyline Ranch, with Ms. Virginia as my para pro, and I am very excited for this new challenge and to be working with such a great staff

Mr. Quinn:

My name is Michael Quinn. I have been teaching for over 20 years. All of those years have been with behaviorally challenged students. I have received my degrees from East Stroudsburg University and Nazareth College. My belief is that everyone can learn. All we have to do is make appropriate choices. When we make good choices, good things will happen.

Mr. Baker:

My name is Don Baker. I began my undergraduate studies at Towson University just outside of Baltimore, MD where I attended on a debate team scholarship. While at Towson, I gained national recognition in debate, winning numerous tournaments and awards including the United States Military Academy at West Point's debate tournament on three occasions, the Eastern Regional Debate Championship twice, and was named to the All-American Debate Team as a junior. I completed my undergraduate degree in Political Science at California State University, Long Beach in which I maintained an active role on the debate team as a member and a coach. I am heavily involved in Girls Fast Pitch Softball, and am currently the varsity head softball coach at Poston Butte High School. In addition, I was a member of the coaching staff for the Little League Arizona State Softball Champions in 2012.
